From Sahibabad to Meerut, the 48-kilometer railway bridge known as the viaduct has been completed, according to authorities of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).

This important stretch, which is around 6 km long, is ready for the next stage. Track laying and traction-related work are expected to begin shortly, according to authorities. The dynamic development is also evident in the quick growth of Shatabdi Nagar, Rithani, and Partapur stations, which are developing in accordance with project timetables.

Furthermore, the NCRTC said in a statement that it has finished these stations’ technical equipment rooms. By building entry-exit gates on both sides of the road, they are demonstrating their dedication to the convenience of their passengers.

In these stations, the building of technical equipment rooms is also complete. Entry-exit gates are being installed on both sides of the road at these stations, the NCRTC said in a statement, with the convenience of the passengers in mind.

At Partapur Station, the RRTS corridor in Meerut made history recently when it crossed the Indian Railways line with great success, reaching a height of around 20 meters.

Stages and condition of the RRTS corridor
It should be mentioned that the four-stage RRTS project is part of the Namo Bharat effort. On October 20, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened Stage I, which consists of the 17 kilometer priority segment between Sahibabad and Duhai Depot. Stage two, which extends 25 km beyond the priority section to Meerut South, is now in the process of conducting Namo Bharat train trials and is expected to start rail services shortly.

The next phases include services from Meerut South to Modi Puram Depot in Meerut and operations from Sahibabad to Sarai Kale Khan stations in Delhi. In the end, this will finish the 82-kilometer Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS route. The RRTS corridor project is expected to be finished considerably ahead of the June 2025 deadline, according to the authorities.
